Basic rules

Some basic but extremely important rules before you start:

• MakoHaru forum primarily :You have to be able to tolerate/like MakoHaru before you join because again this forum is entirely focused on the Makoto/Haruka pairing. Do not join if you can't stand MakoHaru. Do not complain about too much MakoHaru talk going around here.
  
• No Pairings/Characters bashing : Do not speak or post in a way that can be considered anti-pairing or anti-character. Do not post anything that can be seen as condescending or hateful towards any aspect of the fandom. This forum is meant for you guys to have fun discussing MakoHaru and Free!. It's in no way the place where people can vent about pairings or characters they don't like.
  
• No shippers ranting/bashing: Same as the above, do not use this forum as a place to always complain about what shippers from the other side are saying. You are free to bring some of their arguments against MakoHaru and counter the argument respectfully. But no need to insult or rant about the actual shippers or call them by name.
  
• No RinHaru: Members are welcome to discuss Rin and Haruka relationship if they want to. But there will be no thread dedicated to Rin and Haruka as a couple. We want to avoid wars on this board as much as possible. 
  
• Respect your fellow members and moderators: Treat everyone with respect. It’s fine to disagree and have a healthy debate with other members, including moderators. But do not antagonize people or call them names. This will not be tolerated.
  
• Always give credits where it's due: If you're posting something that isn't your own work, always provide a link to the original source. Be it art, fiction, AMVs or even tweets, be sure to always credit the person behind it. You're welcome to post your own work here too but make sure to tell us that it is yours. If we find a post with content not belonging to the OP, it will be deleted and the op will be warned.
  
• Avoid spamming and double posting: Please avoid posting one liners like "yeah I agree" or "lol". Those are considered spams and will not be tolerated. Do not post the same thing twice successively, that's double posting. You can always edit your post.
  
• Avoid cussing as much as possible.
  
• No pornographic material is allowed: In accordance with the forums guidelines, you cannot post anything remotely pornographic. Nsfw will be allowed as long as it's not revealing too much.
  
• Do not feed trolls: If you see anyone trolling, do not engage them. Instead contact a Mod so they can ban the user if needs be.
  
• Keep threads on topic and post in the correct threads. If you need a specific thread for a certain topic, please contact a moderator to inquire about having one created. But please use the search button to make sure a thread doesn't exist before creating one.
  

Please remember

• That the mods are humans like you. We have jobs, school and real life matters to take care of. We can’t monitor every thread that is made every seconds. We might miss stuff at times but all you'll have to do is let us know what we missed.
  
• Be considerate of others. We can't stress this enough.
  
• Some members might be new to fandom, others might not have had access to all of the previous data we got on Free!. There will be times when some you will have to tag your spoilers (for example when the second season of the anime will start.
  
• Do not harass other members, translators, artists, ficcers, etc... to get them to do something for you.
